E. S Tailors

E. S Tailors is located at H. No 3-89 in Khanapuram. We’ve been sewing and fixing clothes for the people around Warangal for a good many years now. It is a small shop set up right at the house. We have our sewing machines and rolls of thread all over the place. It’s usually a bit cluttered with fabric scraps, but we know where everything is. People bring us shirts that need mending or trousers that are too long. We don’t do big fashion shows or anything like that. It is just straightforward tailoring for everyday life. Sometimes a customer wants something specific and we do our best to get it right. It takes time and a lot of focus to get the stitches straight. Our hands are usually busy from morning until the sun goes down. We don't really have a big staff, it’s mostly just family helping out. If you walk into Khanapuram and ask for the tailors at house 3-89, someone will point you our way. We’ve seen many styles come and go over the years. We just stick to what we know. The machines have a specific sound that fills the room all day. It’s honest work and it feels good to finish a piece and hand it back to a neighbor. We just keep sewing and doing our bit for the community here.
