S. B. Industrial Corporation

You can find us out on Jaspal Banger Road in Industrial Area-C, over in Dhandari Kalan. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center, but it’s where all the industrial action is. S. B. Industrial Corporation has been operating from this shed for quite a while. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, which is a bit of a nuisance for the trucks. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of equipment and storage racks. We do a lot of heavy lifting and metal work here. It gets pretty loud once the machines start up in the morning, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We don't have fancy uniforms or a reception area with coffee. We just have a small cabin where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of the guys live nearby, so we’ve become a tight-knit group over the years. We focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished without any mistakes. Sometimes things go wrong, and we have to stay late to fix a machine or redo a batch. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just one that does its job properly. The tea stall down the road is where we usually end up after we close the gates for the evening.
