Archit Meta Chem

We are based at Setudarshan, right near the Manhar Society on Civil Camp Road. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re coming from the other side of Shahibaug, but we like the spot. Archit Meta Chem has been operating out of this space for quite a while now. We deal with various materials, so the office can get a bit dusty sometimes. There’s always a few samples lying around on the shelves. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a velvet sofa in the lobby or anything like that. We just have some simple plastic chairs for whoever drops by. Usually, it’s just delivery guys or people from the nearby shops coming to chat. The street outside is always full of scooters and people walking toward the market. We start around nine and keep going until the sun starts to set. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans running at full speed. Sometimes we bring lunch from home and eat together at the big wooden table in the back. It’s mostly just regular work. We don’t have any grand statements to make to the world. We just process the orders and make sure the labels are correct before things go out. If something goes wrong, we fix it and move on to the next task. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We know all the neighbors pretty well by now. It feels like a little community here on this road.
