We are situated on the first floor of the GS Son's Building on MRR Road. It’s right where it crosses SJP Road. This is a very old and busy part of Bengaluru. We work with wire of all kinds. We make crafts, mesh, and different industrial wire products. The business has been in our family for a long time. When you come up the stairs, you can hear the machines running. It’s a bit loud and the air smells like metal. We have about five workers who have been with us for years. They are very skilled at bending and cutting the wire exactly how the customer wants it. The office area is just a corner with a few old chairs and a lot of ledgers. We don't use computers for everything; we still like writing things down. SJP Road is always crowded with people and vehicles, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a challenge. We just take it in our stride. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. People who need wire work usually find their way to us by word of mouth. We just focus on making things that are strong and useful. It’s a good, solid trade. We have seen the city change a lot from our window. It's a nice view of the street chaos every day.
