We are based out in Seethanayakanahalli in the Malur Taluk. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but that’s where the space is for what we do. We work with alloys and metals, so the facility is quite large and industrial. It isn't the kind of place you'd visit for fun. There’s a lot of heavy machinery and the smell of metal and heat is pretty much always there. Our address is simply 60 Seethanayakanahalli. The village area around us is quiet compared to the noise inside our gates. We have shifts running to keep things moving. Most of the people working here live in the nearby villages or come in from Malur. We aren't big on office decor or fancy lobbies. The office is just a place to keep the logs and take a break. It gets pretty loud when the furnaces are going or when the trucks are coming in to pick up the materials. We spend a lot of time making sure the equipment is maintained because a breakdown really slows everything down. It’s tough work, especially when it’s hot outside, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. We just focus on the metal and making sure the orders are ready when the transport arrives. We’ve got a small canteen where we drink tea and talk about the day's work during our breaks. It keeps us going through the long shifts.
