About Indian Gaskets – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Vadodara
We are located at Plot No. 282-2-b, right where Flexican Bellows is in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s an easy place to find if you know the estate well. We make gaskets of all shapes and sizes. We have different sheets of material like rubber and cork piled up against the walls. Cutting them out takes a lot of focus. We use some manual presses and some newer cutters. It’s not a quiet job. The rhythm of the punches is what you hear all day. Sometimes the dies get dull and we have to spend an hour sharpening them up. We don't have a big fancy office. It’s just a partitioned corner with a plastic table and a couple of chairs. We handle a lot of small orders for local workshops. The trash bin is always overflowing with scrap pieces. We try to recycle what we can. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve been doing this for a long time. We don't really advertise. People just know where we are when they need a specific gasket cut. We usually have black grease on our hands most of the time. It’s just the nature of the work. We get the job done and try not to overcomplicate things. It might take us a day or two more if a machine goes down, but we always finish what we start. That's just our way of working.
