Swamy Plastics

You can find Swamy Plastics over at Plot No 6a in Phase V of the I D A. It’s a typical industrial spot where everyone is busy doing their own thing. We have a couple of injection machines that keep us pretty occupied throughout the day. The smell of melting plastic is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our workshop isn't the biggest in the area, but we manage to fit everything we need inside the walls. Sometimes we have to move stacks of bins just to get the forklift through. The lights flicker a bit in the back corner, but we haven't gotten around to fixing that yet. We usually take our tea breaks together outside near the gate where there is a little bit of shade. It’s a good chance to step away from the noise for a few minutes. Working in Phase V means there is always a lot of traffic during shift changes. We try to time our deliveries so we don't get stuck in the middle of it. Most of the work we do is for other local companies who need specific parts. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the machines. We try to keep the scrap sorted so it can be reused later on. It’s just how we operate here day to day. We don't worry about being fancy as long as the work gets done.
