H. J. Exports

We are based at Diamond Mansion, specifically in unit 1/11. The address is 366/68 Kalbadevi Road, right near Dr. Viegas Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and lively it can be. There are people everywhere and the noise of the street never really stops. H. J. Exports is our small operation tucked away in this old building. We have a couple of rooms that stay pretty cluttered with samples and shipping documents. Since we are in the export business, our days are filled with checking schedules and talking to people on the phone. We don't have a fancy lobby or a big sign outside. You just have to find the right door in the mansion. The stairs can be a bit steep, and the hallways are narrow, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We usually have a pot of tea going and a stack of papers to get through. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a corporate park, but it works for us. We know our neighbors and we know the delivery guys who come by every afternoon. We don’t try to act like a huge company. We’re just a few people making sure things get from one place to another. It’s a lot of small details that we have to get right every day. We just stay focused on the containers.
