Floorxperts

We are located in Old Sangvi, inside Yash Prasad Heights. It is actually Flat No. 2 in Sangam Nagar. It might seem a bit odd to have a flooring business called Floorxperts running out of a flat, but it works for us. We use the space to keep all our samples—tiles, wooden planks, and carpet pieces are leaning against almost every wall. When people come over, they usually have to navigate around a stack of laminate samples to find a place to sit. It’s a bit cluttered, I’ll admit. Most of our work happens out at the customer's site anyway, so this is just our home base. We spend a lot of time on our phones coordinating with installers and checking if the materials arrived at the warehouse. The building is okay, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you're carrying heavy sample boards. We’ve been in Sangam Nagar for a bit now and we like the neighborhood. It’s got a good mix of people. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on quotes and measurements. It’s just a few of us trying to make the business grow without spending too much on a fancy showroom. We prefer to keep things simple and low-key. If the tea is hot and the phone is ringing, it’s a good day for us. We don't have a big marketing plan, just word of mouth and this small flat.
