Working out of Piparia Industrial Estate means we’re surrounded by factories and warehouses all day. Our place is at unit 103. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always got that hum of machinery and trucks moving around. Mundra Syn. is basically just us working through our production schedules and checking on the machines. It’s a dusty place sometimes, especially when the wind picks up across the estate, but that’s just part of being in this line of work. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by equipment and raw materials. We spend a lot of time on the floor, making sure things are running okay and fixing stuff when it breaks down. It’s practical work. We’ve got a small office area where we handle the paperwork, but it’s mostly just a spot to sit down for a minute and have some tea. The guys here have been with us for a while, so we all know the routine. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just make what we make and try to get it out the door on time. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just wait it out. It’s a busy life here at Piparia. You get used to the noise and the constant movement of the trucks. Some days are long, but that is just the nature of the business.
