Ameena Synthetics

Ameena Synthetics is located at 35 in the Govt. Estate in Masat. Being in an industrial estate means there is always the sound of other factories in the background. We work with synthetic fabrics and textiles. Our warehouse is filled with these big, heavy rolls of cloth that we have to move around every day. It’s a lot of physical work and the air inside can get quite warm. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a computer that has seen better days. We don’t really get many visitors here, mostly just the drivers who come to pick up the shipments. The smell of the machines and the fabric is something you get used to after a week or two. My father started this place and I just took over the daily operations after he retired. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. People know us because we have been in Masat for years. We take our tea breaks together in the late afternoon when the sun is at its peak. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a plain, straightforward business without any of the extra fluff. We show up, we process the fabric rolls, and we head home once the work is finished.
