We are based out of B-9 at Focal Point. Being in an area like this means we are surrounded by other companies and a lot of industrial activity. It’s a gritty part of town, but it’s where the real work happens. Our building is a sturdy one, built to handle the kind of materials we deal with every day. Inside, it’s mostly warehouse space and a small corner for the office work. We spend our time managing inventory and making sure the chemicals and plastics are handled the right way. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a fancy cup of coffee. We’re usually wearing work boots and moving things around. The floor is concrete and there’s always a faint smell of production in the air. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. If a machine breaks or a shipment is late, we just deal with it and move on. There isn't any corporate talk here. We speak plainly to each other. We’ve been at this for some time and we have a routine that works. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big truck needs to be loaded before the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the orders out to where they need to go. It is tough work but it is what we do.
