Petrovision '14'

You can find us over at the Alagappa College of Technology. We are specifically based within the Department of Petro Chemical and Engineering in Guindy. It’s a bit of a different setup since we are located right there on the campus itself. Being in an engineering department means there is always a lot of research and technical stuff going on around us throughout the day. We focus on things related to petro chemicals. Most of our days are spent in the lab or the small office, looking at data or working on specific engineering problems that come up. It is not your typical retail shop or commercial business. The atmosphere in Guindy is always busy because of the students and the other departments nearby. We’ve been part of this academic environment for a while now. Our work is pretty specific to the industry we are in. We don't really have a big sales pitch or marketing brochure. We just handle the projects that come our way through the department channels. The halls are usually filled with people heading to classes or labs. We have our own dedicated space where we keep our tools and papers. It can get a bit technical, but for us, it is just what we do for our job. We interact with the college staff and use the facilities available here. It’s a practical place to be if you are into engineering. We just show up, do the work required, and go home.
