Royal Moon Traders

Malayaperumal Street is one of those places where you really have to watch where you’re walking because it is always so crowded. Our shop, Royal Moon Traders, is at No. 31, tucked into Anderson Lane. It’s a narrow spot but we make it work for everything we do. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and moving things around so there is actually space to move inside the room. We deal with various trades and goods, so there is always something coming in or going out on the back of a bike or a small cart. It can get pretty cramped in here when a new shipment arrives unexpectedly. The street outside is usually full of people and other traders doing their thing at all hours. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to get attention. Just a simple door and a lot of work to do every single day. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour and we just sit outside on the steps and chat with the neighbors until the lights come back on. That’s just how it is around here in this part of town. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the locals know exactly where to find us. It’s not a quiet place by any means, but it is home for the business. We keep our ledgers and stock mostly sorted, though it gets a bit messy by the end of the week.
