Our place, Shakti Chemicals, is situated right on the Halol-Vadodara Road in Baska. It’s an industrial stretch, so there’s always trucks moving back and forth. If you are driving towards Vadodara, you can't miss the area. We have been operating here in Halol for quite some time now. The building is a standard industrial unit, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we need. Inside, it’s mostly just the smell of work and the sound of machines or loading. We have a small office area where we handle the billing and talk to the drivers who come in. It gets dusty because of the main road, but that is just part of being in Baska. We started out small and just kept going. The crew here is mostly local guys who live nearby. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just make sure the chemical batches are right and the orders get loaded onto the trucks. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets blocked, but we manage. It is just a regular workplace where people show up, do their shifts, and head back home. We appreciate the local tea stall nearby; it keeps us going during the long afternoons. It's a simple life here on the Halol-Vadodara Road, and we like it that way.
