Gruh Sajawat Furniture

We’ve been over at Dediyasan Industrial Estate on Plot No 161 for a while now making furniture. It’s mostly wood and some metal work here, depending on what people ask us for. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything, just a workshop where we cut the wood and put things together. Some days it gets pretty noisy with the saws going all day. We make tables, chairs, and cabinets for houses around here. Sometimes people come by to check on their orders and they see the dust and the tools lying around. It’s a busy place. My brother and I started this because we liked working with our hands. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know their way around a hammer. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough in the shed, but we manage to get the work finished. We usually have a few stacks of plywood waiting by the door for the next job. If you walk past Plot 161, you’ll probably see us unloading a truck or sanding down a door frame. It is just basic furniture work that stays sturdy. We try to keep the place organized, but when three orders come in at once, it gets a bit cluttered. We just focus on getting the pieces built so people can take them home. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy every day and we like it that way.
