Our spot is over in Nizampet, right in the Srinivasanagar Colony. We’re in Sree Homes, specifically Flat 303. If you know the area, you know it can get a bit busy with all the new buildings going up around Qutbullapur Mandal. We basically handle investigation stuff. It’s not nearly as exciting as the TV shows make it look, honestly. A lot of our time is spent just looking through documents or sitting in the car waiting for something to happen. The office is on Plot 22 and 31. It’s a decent enough space, though the light in the hallway flickers sometimes and we keep meaning to get that fixed. Most of the people who live in the flats nearby are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. We don’t have any big neon signs. It’s just Sahasra Investingation Services on a small plaque. We keep things low-key because that’s the nature of the work. Sometimes it's a bit slow, and we just sit there drinking tea and looking out at the street. Other days, the phone won't stop ringing with people asking us to check into things for them. We just take notes and do what we can. It’s a job like any other, really. The traffic on the way into the colony can be a pain in the evenings, but we’ve lived here long enough to know the shortcuts through the side lanes and back roads that avoid the main jam.
