Laxmi Prerana Earth Movers

Laxmi Prerana Earth Movers is located over on Gandavarigudem Road in Nalgonda, right near the BBC school. My house is at H. No. 4-11-307/1/1, and that is where I keep the paperwork and where the machines usually park up when they aren't out on a job. Owning earth movers means I spend a lot of time dealing with grease, diesel, and a lot of dirt. Whether someone is digging a foundation for a new house or clearing out a plot of land, they call me. The machines are loud and they need a lot of maintenance to keep running. I am often under one of the rigs with a wrench, trying to fix a hydraulic leak or changing out a filter. The Nalgonda heat is no joke when you are out on a rocky site all day. I have a couple of operators who work for me, but I am usually there too, making sure we don't hit any water lines or cables. It is stressful when a machine breaks down in the middle of a big job because repairs are expensive and take time. My phone is always ringing with people asking for rates or checking if I am free next Tuesday. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old calendars on the wall. It is a tough business but there is always something that needs digging up in this town.
