Hotel Express Residency

We are right here on the Jamnagar-Dwarka Highway. It gets pretty busy with all the cars and trucks passing by heading towards the temple. Most people stop here because they are tired from the long drive and just need a place to sit down or sleep for a bit. The building has been here for a while now. We see a lot of the same faces, especially drivers who do this route every week. It isn't anything fancy, just a regular hotel where we try to keep things clean and tidy. Sometimes the highway noise is a bit loud, but you get used to it after working here for a few months. We spend a lot of our morning just getting the rooms ready and checking the water. The sun gets really hot out here in the afternoons, so people like to duck inside for the shade. My cousin and I handle most of the daily stuff, from the front desk to checking on the kitchen. It’s a lot of work keeping up with everyone coming and going at odd hours. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just see our sign from the road and pull in when they’ve had enough driving for one day. It’s a simple life out here on the edge of the highway, just watching the traffic go by and making sure the guests have what they need for the night before they head back out.
