Vimal Industries

Our industrial unit is situated right along the Panvel-Kochi-Kanyakumari Highway in Lanja. It is a very busy stretch of road with trucks and cars zooming by at all hours of the day and night. We do various types of industrial manufacturing here. The building itself is just a basic industrial shed and does not look like much from the highway. Inside, it is usually quite noisy with all the machines running and the tools clanking. We have a small crew of local guys who come in for every shift. We work with metal parts and do some basic casting when the orders come in. Sometimes the delivery of our raw materials gets held up because of the traffic on the highway, but we usually find a way to keep the work moving. We do not have any big marketing plans or a sales office. We just do the work that people ask us to do. The air inside the shop always smells like a mix of machine oil and metal shavings. We like to take our tea breaks under the shade of the trees outside when the weather allows for it. Being right on the highway means we occasionally get travelers stopping by to ask for directions or a bit of help with their vehicles. We like being based in Lanja. It is a bit far from the big city centers, but the highway keeps us busy enough. We just focus on our machines and getting the work done for our customers.
