Ocmi Glass Machinery Mfrs. (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is spread across a few plots here—92, 93, and 94/3—right in Phase-1 of GIDC, Vatva. We spend our time working on machinery meant for the glass industry. It’s heavy work and involves a lot of steel and precise fitting. Ocmi Glass Machinery Mfrs. (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this corner of Vatva for a good stretch of years now. When you walk into the shed, you’ll see people welding or putting together large mechanical parts. It’s not a silent office; there is always the sound of tools and the smell of grease. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just make the machines. It takes a lot of patience to get the glass-handling equipment just right. Some of the guys have been here since the start and they know these machines inside out. We handle everything right here on-site. The area around us is full of other factories, but we mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the blueprints. It can get a bit hectic when we have a big assembly project, but we manage. We aren’t interested in sounding more important than we are. We’re just a bunch of workers and engineers making sure these glass machines actually work when they get to the customer. It’s a lot of manual effort and long hours, but it’s what we know. There isn't much to it beyond that. We just get on with the assembly and testing.
