Pharma Chemicals Industries

Our place is at Plot No. 2811, right in the heart of the Chemical Zone in the GIDC Estate. Being in the chemical zone means there are specific rules we follow every day. Pharma Chemicals Industries is essentially a production site where we spend our hours monitoring tanks and checking temperatures. It’s not the kind of work you can rush. We’ve got reactors and piping running all over the building. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The air always has that faint smell of industrial work, which is just normal for us now. We focus on making intermediates that eventually go into medicines and other products. We aren't a huge corporation; we're a local team that knows the GIDC landscape well. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We spend a lot of time on maintenance too, because these machines can be temperamental if you don't look after them. The gate is usually open during shift changes, and you'll see the staff coming in and out in their gear. We keep things organized as best as we can, though things get hectic when a big shipment arrives or a deadline is close. It’s just steady, honest work in a busy part of the industrial estate. We’ve been at this plot for years and plan to stay.
