Kohinoor Paints

At Kohinoor Paints, we operate out of Survey No. 275, Plot No. 1 in the Ankur Industrial Estate. We are tucked away right behind Intricast Pvt. Ltd. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of solvents and pigments. It’s something you get used to after a while, but visitors always mention it. Our floors and even our shoes are usually splattered with different colors. We spend our days mixing batches and checking the consistency of the paints. It is a messy job, no doubt about it. We have a few big mixing tanks and a lot of empty tins waiting to be filled. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of other factories, but we mostly focus on our own recipes. We aren't some giant international brand. We are just a local setup making paint for various uses. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out exactly the right shade of blue on the first try, so we have to adjust it carefully. It takes a bit of patience. We have a small team of guys who know exactly how to handle the barrels. In the afternoons, when the sun hits the building, it can get a bit stuffy inside, so we keep the big doors wide open. We just stay busy with the orders and try to keep the place as tidy as a paint factory can be. That is pretty much our life here and we like it.
