Damodar Industries Ltd. is located on the second floor of Centre Point, at A1/202. We're right on N. M. Joshi Marg in Lower Parel East. This area has changed a lot over the years, from old mills to these big office blocks, but we’ve stuck around. Our office is usually full of files and people talking on phones about orders and shipping dates. It gets pretty loud during the middle of the day with the train station so close by. We handle the industrial side of things, dealing with materials and production schedules that never seem to end. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure things get loaded onto trucks correctly. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, which makes the morning rush a bit of a struggle for the staff. We aren't trying to be the most polished company out there; we just want to get the work done and go home at a decent hour. The people here know the local food stalls well since we usually grab lunch on the street. It’s a busy life in Mumbai, and being in Lower Parel means you’re always in the thick of it. We keep our heads down and focus on the day-to-day tasks. There’s always another shipment to track or a ledger to update. It’s just how we operate here at Centre Point, keeping things moving along as best we can every single day.
