Asian Paints Ltd.

We have been set up here at Plot No. 2702 for quite a while now. Most days it is pretty busy from the moment the sun comes up. There are usually trucks backed up waiting to get loaded, and you can hear the sound of metal drums clanking together. It is not a quiet place, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. The guys on the floor are always moving, shifting buckets of different colors around and checking the inventory. We have a small office space that gets a bit dusty, but we try to keep the paperwork in order. The smell of paint is everywhere, but we don’t even notice it anymore after all these years. Sometimes the machinery gets a bit temperamental in the summer heat, so we have to stop and fix things, which usually involves a lot of sweat and maybe some shouting. We take our breaks together near the back where there is a little bit of shade. It is just a regular group of people doing their jobs at Asian Paints Ltd. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just getting the orders out and making sure the labels are straight. It is hard work, and your clothes usually end up with a few stains by the end of the shift. That’s just life at the plot. We close up when the last truck leaves and do it all again the next day.
