S. M. Enterprise

S. M. Enterprise is a small outfit located at Plot No. 3428 in the Phase-4 area of Vatva GIDC. We don’t do anything too fancy here. Mostly, we handle supplies and some basic fabrication work depending on what the customers need that week. The office is just a desk and a couple of chairs in the corner of the shed. It can get a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but we know where everything is. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, which makes it easier to keep track of things. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Ahmedabad. We just want to make sure the people who buy from us are satisfied with what they get. Some days are slow and we spend time cleaning the machines or organizing the shelves. Other days are frantic with three trucks trying to load at the same time. We take it as it comes. Being in the GIDC means we’re close to our suppliers too, which helps. If someone calls and asks for something we don't have, we usually know someone nearby who does. It's a practical way of working. No need for big speeches or polished presentations. We just show up at the plot, open the doors, and see what the day brings. It’s been working for us so far at 3428.
