Gaurav Enterprises

We are located at B27/98B over in Durgakund. It’s a pretty familiar spot for anyone who lives around this part of the city. We’ve been running Gaurav Enterprises as a local family thing for a good bit of time now. Most days it’s just about keeping the stock moving and talking to the regular people who walk in off the street. Durgakund has its own very specific vibe, usually very busy with the temple nearby and the traffic that never seems to stop or slow down. Our shop is just one of many small businesses on this street, but we’ve managed to get our own regular crowd over the years. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or fancy signs. People just seem to know us through word of mouth or by passing by. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty inside with all the construction work going on nearby, but we just clean the counters and keep things going. We sell a variety of items that people in the neighborhood need for their daily lives and homes. It’s not a huge operation by any means. It's just a few rooms filled with boxes and some wooden shelves we put up ourselves. I usually sit near the front door to greet people and my brother handles the inventory in the back. We try to keep things as simple as possible. If we don’t have a specific item, we just tell you straight so you don't waste time. The weather gets really hot here in the peak of summer, but we manage by keeping the shutters halfway down.
