You can find us at 1-7-95/2 in Mahabubnagar. We are located near the Collector Banglow in the Vivekananda Nagar area. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of the ink and the sound of the machines running. It is a constant rhythmic thumping that you eventually stop hearing after a few hours. There are stacks of paper everywhere you look. Some are blank and some have been printed with all sorts of things like wedding cards or local notices. The floor is usually covered in little bits of trimmed paper. We spend a lot of time adjusting the settings on the presses to get things looking right. Our hands are almost always stained with some color of ink that doesn't wash off easily. When the power goes out, the whole place goes silent and we just sit and wait for it to come back. The Vivekananda Nagar area is usually pretty busy with people walking past the shop. We have a counter where people bring their files or handwritten notes on what they need. Some days the machines are cranky and we have to spend time fixing a jam or cleaning the rollers. It is dusty work and the fans just move the paper dust around. We just keep going until the last job is done and the lights are turned off.
