Kanugurthi Manikyamma

I've lived here in Dhorepally village for quite some time now. This place, house number 2-145/3, is where everything happens for Kanugurthi Manikyamma. Maddur Mandal is a quiet enough area, and we just go about our business every day without making a big fuss. It’s mostly about the morning routine and getting things ready before the sun gets too high. People stop by sometimes, or they just pass through the village on their way to other parts of the mandal. We don’t have fancy signs or a big office. It’s just this house where I stay and handle whatever needs doing. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but that's just how it is around here. You get used to the pace of things. It’s not fast like the city, and we prefer it that way. Mostly, it’s about being present and doing the work that's right in front of us. There isn’t much to say other than we are here every day. The seasons change, the crops in the nearby fields grow and get harvested, and we just keep on with our own tasks. It’s a simple life, really, nothing too complicated or special about it, just the way we like it.
