Sagar Plastics

Sagar Plastics is over in the Ramalaxmi Complex near the Dharga area. If you know the neighborhood you probably know the building. It’s a busy complex with a lot of different small businesses tucked away. We’ve been in this unit for several years now. It’s mostly filled with rows of plastic goods and molding equipment. The smell of warm plastic is something you just live with when you work here. It’s not a bad smell once you're used to it. We produce a lot of everyday items that people use without thinking much about it. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and making sure everything is coming out the right shape. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait around for it to come back on which can be frustrating when you have a deadline. We usually just sit outside on the steps and have a tea or talk to the guys from the shop next door until the lights flicker back on. It’s a living. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just sell what we make to whoever needs it. Usually it is local shops or contractors who stop by. The Ramalaxmi Complex is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it but once you find us we’re easy to deal with. It's a straightforward operation and we like keeping it that way. No fuss and no complicated business talk for us.
