M. K. Industries

We’ve been here in Shahdara at Vishwas Nagar for quite a while now. Most folks around Street No. 15 know our spot at No. 28/53. It’s an industrial area, so things get pretty busy during the day with all the trucks and people moving around. We started M. K. Industries because there was a need for what we do, and we just stuck with it. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workspace where we get our hands dirty and make sure the jobs get finished. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets crowded, but we manage. My brother and a few local guys help me out every day. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. People usually find us by word of mouth or just by walking past the shop. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the work at hand and try to be fair with everyone who comes through the door. There’s always noise from the machines, and the tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It’s just how things are here in this part of Delhi. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job and keep the business running year after year. If you find yourself on Street 15, you’ll probably see us working away near the corner. It's a lot of long hours, but we're used to it by now.
