Anjali Granites

Our yard for Anjali Granites is situated at Sy No 1083 in Venkataramapuram. It is a bit out of the way, but that gives us the room we need to store large slabs of granite. When you walk into the yard, you will see rows of stone leaning against each other. It is heavy, cold material. We spend most of our days moving these slabs around with the crane or cutting them down to the sizes people ask for. The sound of the saws is constant and we use a lot of water to keep the dust down, so the ground is almost always wet. We do not have a polished showroom with bright lights. Most people who come here are looking for raw material for their homes or shops. They walk through the rows with us, pointing at the colors and patterns they like. We have been in Venkataramapuram Village for quite a while now. The sun can be very harsh on the stone in the afternoons, making it hot to the touch. We are just a few workers here, mostly family and a couple of helpers from nearby. We do not do any fancy marketing or big ads. People usually find us because their neighbor or a contractor told them we were here. We just focus on the stone and making sure it gets loaded onto the trucks without cracking. It is simple, physical work that keeps us busy from sunrise until the evening.
