Navayuga Borewells

Finding water isn't always as easy as people think, but that’s what we do here at Navayuga Borewells. Our base is at H. No 12-72 in Kamalapur, though we are rarely actually there during the day. Most of the time, our rig is out in a field or someone’s backyard somewhere in Karimnagar. We’ve been drilling for years, and you get a feel for where the water might be, though you never really know until you start the machine. It’s a very messy job with all the mud and dust flying everywhere once the drill hits the ground. We don't wear fancy clothes because they’d be ruined in five minutes. Usually, it’s just us and the customer standing around watching the pipe go down deeper and deeper. Some days are long, especially if we hit hard rock that doesn't want to give way. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Usually, a farmer tells his cousin about us, and that’s how we get our next job. We just focus on keeping the equipment running because if the rig breaks, we aren't making any progress. It’s a simple life, moving from one site to the next, hoping the next hole we drill brings up plenty of water for the folks who live there. It takes patience and a lot of diesel. We try to finish up as fast as the ground lets us. That is our daily routine.
