Navatha Earth Movers

We’ve been out here in Devampalle for a good while now. The yard is usually pretty dusty because of the machines coming and going. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot over Karimnagar. We have our heavy equipment parked out front of H. No 4-85. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. People from around the Manakondur area know where to find us. Usually, there’s some grease on the floor and tools scattered around because something always needs fixing. We take care of the machines ourselves most of the time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty. We keep the engines running and the parts moving. It’s loud work sometimes. If you’re driving through the village, you’ll see the yellow paint on the excavators. We don’t spend much time sitting in the office. Most of the work is done outside in the dirt. My shirt usually has some stains by noon. We just handle the earth moving side of things for whoever needs it nearby. It gets quiet in the evenings when the machines are finally shut off. The gate stays open during the day so anyone can stop by and talk. We don't have a big receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and look for someone near the back where the big sheds are. It’s just us and the machines every day, making sure the gears are turning and the jobs get finished.
