Surya Crane Service

Oswal Park on Vasai Road is where our shop is located, specifically at Shop No. 12 in the Mahavir Ashish building. We also operate near Anjur Phata. This job is mostly about being ready when someone’s truck or car breaks down. We have our cranes parked nearby, and they are pretty much our main focus. The shop itself is mostly for keeping the tools and some spare parts for the machines. There is always a layer of grease on the table and some oily rags around. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones waiting for a call for a tow or a lift. Vasai Road is always heavy with traffic, so we have to know all the shortcuts to get to people quickly. It’s a 24-hour kind of life; the phone can ring at three in the morning and we have to get up and go. The work is physically tiring and usually leaves us covered in dust and grime. We have a small bench outside the shop where we sit and watch the traffic when things are slow. Anjur Phata is a busy junction, so there are always accidents or breakdowns that need our help. It’s just us and the machines, making sure we can pull whatever needs pulling. We don’t have any fancy brochures, just the cranes and our numbers.
