Mahadev Brass Products

We’ve been here at Plot No. 3532 for a while now. Most people around Jamnagar know this area is big for brass, and that is exactly what we do. It's dusty work, but it keeps us busy. My family has been involved in this for a long time. We start early most days to beat the heat in Dared. The machines are loud and the floor is always covered in small bits of metal. We make all sorts of brass items, mainly small parts that go into other machines. It is a straightforward business. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop and a small desk for paperwork. Sometimes the orders are huge, and other times things are quiet. We just take it day by day. Most of our neighbors in GIDC-3 are doing the same thing. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the machines to finish their cycles. Shipping things out can be a bit of a headache with the trucks coming in and out of the narrow roads. We’ve learned how to fix our own machines when they break down because waiting for a mechanic takes too long. It is just life here in Jamnagar. We keep the scrap tidy so we can reuse it later. It is simple work, but it is what we know. We aren't looking to become some giant company, we just like to keep things running smoothly for our customers.
