Didgi Shekar

My place is in Chinna Hyderabad Village, which falls under the Zaheerabad Mandal in Medak District. The house number is 3-41. This is where I do my work and live with my family. In a small village like ours, you end up doing a bit of everything to keep things going. Most people around here know me as Shekar. I handle various small tasks and services that the local villagers need. It is not like a big city company with lots of staff. It is mostly just me handling things on the ground. Telangana heat can be tough, especially in the afternoons, so we start our work quite early. The village is peaceful, though Medak is growing. I have stayed here all my life and I know every corner of this area. People stop by my house if they need help or have some work for me. We sit outside, talk about the crops or the weather, and then get to whatever business is at hand. Life moves at a bit of a slower pace here than in Hyderabad. I try to stay busy and make sure whatever job I take on gets done properly. It is just about being a part of the community and doing what I can. There are no big signs or advertisements, just word of mouth from one neighbor to another. That is how things work best in Chinna Hyderabad and I wouldn't have it any other way.
