We run our book distribution from Shalivahana Nagar in the Moosarmbagh area of Hyderabad. The house number is 16-11-741/D/115 and that is where most of the stock stays. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of books piled up in different rooms. We deal with all kinds of titles and mostly get them out to the smaller shops and people who need them in this part of the city. Being in Moosarmbagh is handy because we are fairly central and can get to most places without too much trouble, though the traffic near the bridge can be a nightmare in the evenings. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and checking invoices to make sure the right books are going to the right place. It is not a quiet library environment; it is more about moving heavy boxes and dealing with delivery vans. The neighbors in Shalivahana Nagar are used to seeing us loading up vehicles at odd hours. We don’t have a big storefront where you can browse, it is more of a warehouse setup inside a residential home. Sometimes we get dusty from all the paper and cardboard, but that is just part of the job. It is a simple operation and we have been doing it for years now. We know the local book scene well and just focus on getting the orders filled as they come in.
