Vijayasri Organics began in the mid-1980s as a trader of basic chemicals. The experience of a few strong years in the field paved way to our venturing into manufacturing of intermediates and thereafter into APIs in 1996 when our organisation was registered as a company. Under the able direction of Mr. S.V.J. Raju and Mr. K.V. Rama Rao, Vijayasri grew phenomenally as a reputed manufacturer of bulk intermediates and high quality APIs. We have been able to emerge as a reliable ally for several mega pharma companies in manufacturing various pharma products. The strategic vision of our promoters led to the establishment of our plant at Bollaram in 2003. Subsequently the company established a bigger unit at Vizag in 2007, to be able to cater to a larger spectrum of clientele and newer markets.
The substantial renown we had garnered over time enabled us progress to successfully face the USFDA audit, subsequently obtaining its approval. Acting as a shot in the arm, the FDA certification has now turned Vijayasri into being the cynosure of all eyes, progressing into global pharma leaders negotiating partnerships with us.
We have now established a strong partnership with US based API Pharma Tech, promoted by the illustrated researcher, scientist and professor Dr. Christopher Newton who has scores of drug patents to his credit. Our partnership with Dr. Newton will create a roadmap to identifying and exploring niche markets while working on cost effective and innovative solutions to our business. API Pharma Tech would be providing the requisite technologies and the expertise for us to manufacture exclusive pharma products and help us cater to the US markets.
With the FDA regulatory approval as an endorsement of Vijayasri Organics’ quality manufacturing processes and with developing international partnerships, independently and jointly filing DMFs is already on the anvil.
