Priya Cement has played a major role in underpinning these key drivers of India’s development since August, 1986. While all cement may look the same, what continues to make Priya Cement unique is that for more than three decades, we have been synonymous with strength and longevity. We have gradually and consistently risen from a thought to steady action; from a single brick to strong and sturdy infrastructure. The Priya Cement name has evolved into one of the most reputed and beloved cement brands in India.
Priya Cement enjoys prominent presence in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Maharashtra & Goa. The brand has worked hard to earn its clientele’s respect and trust not only through years of strong relations but also through our closely monitored cement manufacturing process, which ensures nothing but quality products reach our customers. The company has two integrated production plants each in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, and a packing unit in Karnataka. We operate on close to 400 acres of land in total, where continuous mining churns about 10,000 MT of limestone per day.

Our reach and work have carved a niche in some of the most prominent construction projects in India, such as the world-famous Ramoji Film City, Eenadu Districts Offices, Dr Reddy Labs in Srikakulam and Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam Shipyard, Kakinada port, Vijayawada Thermal Power Project, Priyadarshini Jurala Irrigation project, Viceroy Group of Hotels and Amrutha Castle in Hyderabad, to name a few.

Our History
The Priya Cement brand is produced and marketed by Rain Cements Limited (RCL), a public company registered under the Companies Act, 1956, with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, engaged in the manufacture and sale of Cement. RCL is a key component and wholly owned subsidiary of Rain Industries Limited. Rain Industries Limited is a listed company with equity shares listed on BSE Limited (Scrip code: 500339) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (Scrip code: RAIN). The Rain Industries Limited group is engaged not only in the business of manufacture and sale of Cement, but additionally in Carbon products, Chemicals and the Generation and Supply of Electric Power both inside and outside India.
From its inception in August, 1986 until December 29, 2010, RCL initially carried out its cement business under the name of Priyadarshini Cement Limited. The Cement business was then transferred to RCL, pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement under Section 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956, approved by the Honourable High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
We manufacture 43 Grade Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), 53 Grade OPC and also Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), all marketed under the renowned Priya Cement brand name. We have invested in strengthening our product lines and in introducing key quality measures and services, in order to establish and maintain the Priya Cement name as one of the premium brands available in the market.
RCL’s manufacturing plants have an annual cement production capacity of 4 million MT and are situated as follows:

Unit II
Boincheruvupalli village, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India
Unit III
Kudithini, Bellary District, Karnataka, India
As part of our continuous efforts to proactively reduce our environmental impact and to improve our manufacturing efficiency, RCL has invested in a 6.4 MW Waste Heat Recovery based Power Plant at Unit II, allowing us to now capture and convert the tremendous heat required in the Cement production process into a valuable source of new electricity generation.
