Srilatha Concrete Mixture

This concrete mixture business is based out of Tharala Pallu in Hanamkonda. We operate from H. No 6-66. It's a basic setup where we keep our mixing machines and tools. Most days are spent moving the equipment from one construction site to another. Hanamkonda has a lot of new houses going up, so there is always someone needing a mixer for a day or two. The machines are heavy and take some effort to transport. We spend a lot of time checking the belts and the engines to make sure they won't stall. When the mixer is running, you can't hear much else. It's a lot of sand, gravel, and cement every single day. My clothes always have a bit of gray dust on them no matter how much I wash them. We aren't a big company with many departments. It’s just us handling the rentals and making sure the gear works. Sometimes we have to fix things on the spot with a wrench and some luck. People in the neighborhood see us coming and going with the machines all the time. It’s a repetitive job, but it’s what we do. We don't do any big advertising, word of mouth around the village is usually enough to keep the machines out on jobs. It is hard work but it keeps us busy through the building season.
