Shri Devichand Jain

Our operation is based in the GIDC Estate, Phase-II in Naroda. We are specifically located at C/1, B/2 on Modern Bakery Road. If you are familiar with this industrial area, you know it is a place of heavy work, trucks, and a lot of noise. We deal with alloys at Mehta Alloys Ltd., so the environment is very practical and industrial. The air usually smells like metal and the sound of machinery is constant throughout the day. Our office is a small building on the site where we handle all the shipping documents, payroll, and orders. Shri Devichand Jain has been part of this work for a long time, and the focus has always been on the production side rather than having a nice office. It is often quite hot, especially near the furnaces, and we all wear heavy-duty clothes and boots to stay safe. We do not have any fancy brochures or a polished reception area. People come here to do business, load up their trucks, and head out. Most of our workers live in the Naroda area and have been with us for many years. We know each other well and we just get on with the physical work of processing the metals. It is a straightforward way to make a living. We start early in the morning and work until the day’s orders are finished. There is no corporate talk here, just the daily grind of the factory.
