We operate out of Plots 7 and 8 over in Phase-1 of GIDC Shankar Tekri. It’s a busy spot in Jamnagar. We have two plots side by side, which gives us enough room to move things around. It’s a lot of physical work. Most days, we are busy loading or unloading stuff. The air in Shankar Tekri always smells a bit like metal and oil because of all the workshops around. We’ve been in this location for a long time. My father started things here, and we just kept it going. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or anything. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. We talk to our customers on the phone or they just drop by the office. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old chairs. We prefer it that way. It’s more about the work than the appearance. The heat in the afternoon can be pretty bad, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. We have a few guys who have been with us for twenty years. They know the place better than I do. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily grind. We see the same faces every day and that’s how we like it. Jamnagar is home and this plot is where we spend our lives. There is always something that needs fixing.
