B M Automarine

Down here at B M Automarine, we're located at Plot No. 3, Sector 8, right on Tagore Road in Gandhidham. Since we're in Kachchh, we get a lot of that salt air and heat. Our shop is where we handle parts and mechanical bits for vehicles and boats. It’s a bit of a mix, hence the name. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of room for the stuff we stock. Tagore Road is usually busy with traffic, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s mostly just rows of shelves and some workbenches in the back where we check the parts. We don't bother with uniforms; we just wear what's comfortable for working around grease and metal. Most people who come in are regulars who know exactly what they need. We don't do much talking unless it’s about the job at hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just part of being in this area. We’ve seen Gandhidham grow quite a bit, but we’ve stayed right here in Sector 8. We aren't trying to expand into a giant corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the customers get what they came for. It's a practical business for a practical town. We just do our work, lock up, and head home.
