Archana Iron Traders is located at 5-2-198/1 on Distillery Road. If you know Ranigunj in Secunderabad, you know it’s the place to go for building materials. Our yard is usually busy with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We deal in all kinds of iron and steel products. It’s heavy, dirty work, but someone has to do it. The office is tucked away in the corner of the lot and it’s usually filled with the sound of the traffic outside. We’ve been in this trade for a long time and we know most of the contractors around here by their first names. We don’t do any fancy marketing or have a big sales team. People just come to us because they know we have the stock sitting in the yard. The prices change every day based on the market, so we spend a lot of time on the phone checking the latest rates. It’s a lot of manual work, loading the trucks and making sure the weight is right. Sometimes the rain slows things down and makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we keep moving. We don’t have any grand mission statements or anything like that. We just sell iron and try to keep our records straight. It’s a straightforward business and it keeps us on our toes every single day. Most people just walk in, ask for a price, and we go from there.
