We are located at Plot No. 59 in Sector 1 A. Our spot is right behind the Municipal Market here in Gandhidham. Being in Kachchh, the weather can get really hot, especially in the afternoons. Shipping is a lot of paperwork and making sure things are where they are supposed to be at the right time. Our office is fairly simple. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of logbooks. The market being so close is good for getting lunch, though it makes the traffic around here a bit of a headache during peak hours. We deal with a lot of different people every day, from truck drivers to port officials. It’s a lot of coordinating and sometimes things don’t go according to plan because of the weather or delays at the docks. We don't use any fancy software that does everything for us; it's mostly us on the phones and checking lists. We’ve been operating out of this Sector 1 A location for a while. You get used to the dust and the constant noise of the town. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to make sure the cargo moves from point A to point B without getting lost. It’s a lot of following up and staying on top of the details. Most days we are just glad when the last container is accounted for and we can head home.
