Shankar Trading Company

Shankar Trading Company is a small operation we run out of Manas Vihar. We are located right near the PIS school, which makes it easy for most people to find us. Usually, you can hear the kids playing during their break times. I started this trading business because I like the back and forth of buying and selling things. We don't stick to just one item; it depends on what is available and what people in the area are asking for. The office is just a simple room with a desk and some shelves for records. I spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to suppliers who drop by. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction happening down the street. My wife comes in the afternoons to help with the paperwork because I am not very good at keeping things tidy. We have been in Manas Vihar for a long time and know most of the neighbors. It’s a decent place to work. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where I go twice a day to get a break. People know they can just knock on the door even if the sign isn't out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do honest business and keep things moving. If you pass the school, you’ve almost reached us.
