I’m usually here at the shop on Rajdev Street near Sanganva Chowk by nine. It’s a busy spot, especially when the morning traffic starts picking up. Thakkar Electricals isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep all sorts of wires, switches, and those little bits and pieces people need for their homes. Most of the day is spent untangling cables or looking through boxes for specific fuses. The dust settles on the shelves pretty quick, so there's always a bit of cleaning to do between customers. Sanganva Chowk can get really loud with all the horns and people shouting, but you get used to it after a few years. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat about the weather or how the road construction is going. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure everything is in the right bin. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to stock as much as possible. You never know what someone might walk in asking for. Sometimes it's a specific bulb that hasn't been made in years, and we have to dig through the back. It’s honest work, keeping the lights on for people around here. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the metal parts by lunchtime. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure the inventory is okay. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy enough.
