Sri Maruthi Machine Tools is at the very end of Pipe Line Road. The address is 10-1-205 in Fathenagar. It’s a busy corner of the world, especially with all the industrial activity around here. We’ve got a workshop that’s pretty much always humming with some kind of activity. We deal with tools and machinery every single day. It’s a greasy, noisy environment, but that’s how a machine shop should be. We have benches covered in parts and floors that have seen a lot of spills over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny showroom. We just have our workspace where we get things done. Most of the guys here have been working with machines since they were young. We know how things work and how to fix them when they don't. The road outside can get pretty clogged with trucks, so getting in and out takes some patience. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time. We know the other shop owners on Pipe Line Road. It’s a community of people who work with their hands. We don't have a big administrative department. It’s usually just one of us answering the phone while trying to finish a task. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical way to run things, and it has worked for us so far. We just open up and see what the day brings.
