Crystal Crop Protection is situated at Plot No. Gi-17 on the Karnal Road. It’s a main road, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and tractors. We focus on products that help farmers protect their crops. It’s important work because the farmers around here rely on getting a good harvest. Our warehouse is usually full of jugs and bags ready to be shipped out to the rural distributors. The smell inside is quite distinct, a mix of various chemicals and plastic packaging. We have a small office near the front where we handle all the paperwork. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but we manage. During the planting season, things get really hectic. We stay late most nights just to keep up with the demand. The workers are mostly guys from the local area who know a bit about farming themselves. We have a big gate that we keep closed mostly because of the dust from the road. There’s a small garden we try to keep alive in the corner of the plot, but the heat makes it tough. We don’t do much advertising. The farmers know our name and what we provide. It’s a solid business and we’ve been on Karnal Road for quite some time now. We just do our work every day.
